LEXINGTON, Ky. — With construction on-going at the Kentucky Soccer Complex, the season opener with the Wildcats and Wright State, slated for Friday night, was postponed due to a power outage at the facility.

After the UK women’s soccer team posted a 7-0 win over Eastern Kentucky earlier in the evening, the UK men’s team was preparing to take the field for the national anthem when the power went out in the facility, forcing a postponement. The two teams have rescheduled the non-conference tilt to Nov. 5, with a time to be announced.

Kentucky will now open its season on Sunday vs. Georgia State at 3 p.m. ET at the UK Soccer Complex.
