LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Big Blue Nation will have multiple opportunities this weekend to cheer on their Wildcats, while following them on television and radio.

The men’s basketball team opens its 2013-14 season on Friday, hosting the UNC Asheville Bulldogs. Fox Sports South’s coverage will be live, at 7 p.m. ET to the following states in the FS-South footprint: Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. Fans can also follow the action on TV on a delayed basis on the following UK IMG Sports Network affiliates: Bowling Green – WBKO-FOX, 9 p.m. CT; Cincinnati, Ohio – WSTR-TV, 10 p.m. ET; Evansville, Ind. – WTVW-TV, 11 p.m. CT; Hazard – WYMT, 11:30 p.m. ET; Huntington, W. Va. – WSAZ-DT (My Z), 11:30 p.m. ET; Lexington – CWKYT, 10 p.m. ET; Louisville – WMYO, 11 p.m. ET; Paducah, Ky./Cape Girardeau, Mo. – KBSI, 9 p.m. CT).

The men’s team will then turn around and host the Northern Kentucky Norse on Sunday. Fox Sports South’s coverage will be live, at 4 p.m. ET to the following states in the FS-South footprint Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. Fans can also follow the action on TV on a delayed basis on the following UK IMG Sports Network affiliates: Bowling Green – WBKO-FOX, 9 p.m. CT; Cincinnati, Ohio – WSTR-TV, 11 p.m. ET; Evansville, Ind. – WTVW-TV, 7 p.m. CT; Hazard – WYMT, Midnight ET; Huntington, W. Additionally, both games will be available on the radio at 630 AM WLAP and 98.1 FM WBUL.

Saturday’s football game against Missouri will air live on ESPNU and can also be heard on WLAP and WBUL.

UK Hoops Friday night game at Marist in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., can be heard live on 1580 AM WWTF at 7 p.m. ET. The Wildcats’ Sunday game at Wagner in Staten Island, N.Y., can be heard on 105.5 FM WWRW. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.

The UK volleyball team begins the weekend playing host to South Carolina at 7 p.m. ET. A radio call will be available through UKAthletics.com. Kentucky will then take on the LSU Tigers on Sunday with a 1 p.m. ET first serve and can be heard on 1580 AM WWTF. The match will air live locally on CWKYT and will also be available to residents of Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama on FS South.
