FRANKLIN, Tenn. – After carding out a 17 over 305, the University of Kentucky women’s golf team finished with a 39 over 903 posting a ninth place finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship.
Sophomore Haley Mills paced the Wildcats on the third and final day with a two over 74, helping her to finish in a tie for 16th place (+6). It marked Mills second top 20 finish is as many tournaments this season.
Cylia Damerau moved up two spots on the final day after shooting a four over 76. Damerau finished in a tie for 30th.
Sarah Harris followed yesterday’s career day (-3) with a five over 77 on the third day, finishing the tournament 11 over 227 and in a tie for 38th place.
Grace Rose shot a seven over 79 on the final day of action, finishing 19 over for the tournament in a tie for 63rd while Ale Walker closed the tournament out with a six over 78, finishing 20 over in a tie for 66th place.
Playing as an individual, Megan Kinney shot a 13 over 85, finishing 27 over for the tournament in 75th.
Host school Vanderbilt claimed the championship finishing even, 864, while LSU (+11), Mississippi State (+16), Auburn and GRU Augusta (+21) completed the top five.
Rounding out the rest of the standings were Virginia (+30), Chattanooga (+31), Lamar (+38), Alabama (+40), Tulane and Michigan State (+46), Princeton (+50), Vanderbilt-B (+51) and Clemson (+52).
