No. 22 UK Women's Tennis Travels to No. 7 Georgia, Tennessee

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 22 Kentucky women’s tennis faces its first road test of the Southeastern Conference season when it faces No. 7 Georgia Friday and Tennessee Sunday.

The Wildcats (11-45 2-1 SEC) face their third top-15 opponent in their last four matches Friday at 4 p.m. ET in Athens, Ga., vs. the Bulldogs. The border battle rivalry vs. the Volunteers closes the roadtrip for UK Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Kentucky enters the weekend ranked No. 22 in the latest ITA team rankings. In the individual rankings, junior Nadia Ravita is 85th and freshman Mami Adachi has re-entered the rankings for the second time in her career at No. 111. In doubles, Ravita and sophomore Aldila Sutjiadi are 28th.

In addition to a No. 7 national ranking, Georgia (10-4, 3-1 SEC) has six players ranked in the top 125. Lauren Herring leads the way at No. 11, while Hannah King is 55th, Ellen Perez 56th and Kennedy Shaffer No. 58. Two of UGA’s doubles pairs are ranked, with Perez and Herring at No. 16 and Shaffer and Silvia Garcia No. 20.

Tennessee enters the weekend with an even 8-8 mark and an 0-4 record in SEC action. The Lady Vols appear once in the doubles rankings, with Joanna Henderson and Caitlyn Williams at No. 33.

The Wildcats are back home on Feb. 20 when they host Arkansas at 6 p.m. ET. UK concludes the weekend vs. Mizzou on Sunday at Noon ET.
