Kentucky Volleyball Announces October Promotions

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Volleyball program announced its October home promotions schedule Monday afternoon, with UK playing three home matches in the month, including two on national television.
 
Wednesday, October 6, Kentucky will face Mississippi State at 6 p.m. ET on ESPNU while celebrating Coffee With A Cop Day and National Coaches’ Day. The Lexington Police Department and University of Kentucky Police Department will be on hand Wednesday night handing out coffee to fans inside Memorial Coliseum to celebrate the holiday.
 
Friday, October 22 will mark the first of a two-match series with Arkansas. Oct. 22nd is UK’s Think Pink Match, with promotions themed to the fight against breast cancer. There will be a pom-pom giveaway, pink UK Volleyball beanie giveaway to the first 150 fans into the arena and special tributes throughout the night to those who “think pink”. This match will be shown live on the SEC Network.
 
Saturday, October 23, Kentucky closes out the October home slate with a 7 p.m. ET match against Arkansas on the SEC Network+ with the match featuring Halloween themes. Fans will be encouraged to try out their Halloween costumes, with a kids costume contest. It’s also a UKVB BINGO night, with it being a Saturday match.
