UKTF Signs Transfer Meg Wilson from Miami Ohio
LEXINGTON, Ky. — University of Kentucky track and field has added another sprinter/jumper to its roster this summer in Meg Wilson, a transfer from Miami University of Ohio.
Wilson is originally from Brentwood, Tennessee and graduated from Brentwood High School in 2020 before her freshman year at Miami. She also competed for Kinder Sport Track Club during high school.
Her freshman year at Miami was highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the 4×100 meter relay at the 2021 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships and six top-four finishes in the long jump at dual meets throughout the season.
Wilson competed in the 60m dash, 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash and long jump in high school, and at Miami she competed in the 60m dash, long jump and 4x100m relay.
She will enroll in the fall and train under head coach Lonnie Greene and multi-events assistant coach Kris Grimes.
