No. 3 Kentucky Plays Host to Ole Miss in Memorial Coliseum
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 3 Kentucky Volleyball team will play host to the Ole Miss Rebels on Friday and Saturday evenings inside Memorial Coliseum this weekend as the 2020-21 Southeastern Conference volleyball season rolls on.
Friday’s match will be at 7 p.m. ET and Saturday’s series finale will take place at 5 p.m. ET, with Senior Day ceremonies being conducted before the match on Saturday. The Wildcats will honor their four seniors, Gabby Curry, Madison Lilley, Kendyl Paris and Avery Skinner prior to Saturday’s match, so fans are encouraged to arrive early to help honor them.
Tickets inside the socially-distanced Memorial Coliseum are available for both matches at UKathletics.com/tickets. Fans can also find important gameday safety information on UKathletics.com to research the ways UK Athletics is making the fan gameday experience as safe as possible.
Both matches will be available on the SEC Network+, ESPN3 and the ESPN app with Dick Gabriel (pxp) and Kathy DeBoer (color) on the call from Lexington. Live stats will also be accessible for both matches on UKathletics.com.
Kentucky is 14-0 on the season, holding a two-match lead on the second place Florida Gators entering the weekend. The Wildcats are the lone remaining unbeaten team left in the SEC, having run the table with a perfect 8-0 record in the fall, and is a perfect 6-0 so far in the spring season.
Ole Miss, under the direction of first-year head coach Kayla Banwarth is 1-13 on the season with its win coming two weeks ago against the LSU Tigers in Oxford. The Rebels have played four five-set matches this season, sporting a 1-3 record in those competitions.
