LEXINGTON, Ky. – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America has named 27 swimmers and divers from the University of Kentucky to the 2019 CSCAA Scholar All-America teams, announced on Wednesday.

Kentucky boasts the third most athletes on the honoree list among Southeastern Conference programs, behind Alabama and Missouri. In the league, 218 athletes were selected to the prestigious teams. Moreover, CSCAA selected 2,111 athletes across 282 programs nationwide for the 2018-19 season.

The award recognizes students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and competed at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

In addition to the first-team selections, students were named as honorable mention selections. These students have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a “B” time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier.
