Weather Forces Saturday Cancellation, Sunday Doubleheader

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky’s scheduled home game on Saturday, March 9 against Middle Tennessee has been canceled due to thunderstorms in the Lexington area. The teams now will play a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at noon ET, with both games set for the full nine innings.
 
The Wildcats won the series opener on Friday evening, besting the Blue Raiders 4-1 behind junior left-handed pitcher Zack Thompson and a pair of home runs by junior infielder/outfielder Breydon Daniel and sophomore outfielder Cam Hill.
