The Wildcat Skills Camp is an overnight camp starting Thursday, June 14 and concluding Friday, June 15. This camp is designed for all players who want to improve their game while having fun. Campers are asked to come ready to focus, learn and get better as the camp offers individual instruction and group stations with an emphasis on fundamentals, position development, individual and team competitions. Campers will have the opportunity to work with our the elite UK women’s basketball staff, instructors and players. All campers will receive a Nike camp t-shirt and will have the opportunity to pre-order and purchase camp shorts.

Overnight campers will be housed in the University of Kentucky state-of-the-art dormitories. Each camper will be designated a roommate. Per university policy, campers must be at least 12 years old at the start of camp to stay in the dorms. Overnight campers will be provided dinner (6/14), breakfast (6/15) and lunch (6/15). Campers will be responsible for bringing their own bedding, towels, toiletry items and any other necessities required for staying overnight. The Wildcat Skills Camp is $200 for overnight campers and $150 for commuters. After May 4, the price increases with $225 for overnight campers and $175 for commuters.

The Little Wildcat Camp is a fundamental camp for individual players designed to teach foundation skills for all upcoming basketball players. Each day, campers will spend the morning sessions participating in stations to teach them the basic fundamentals of basketball. The afternoon sessions, will include fun (non-basketball) activities followed by basketball competitions and league play. All campers will receive a Nike camp t-shirt and will have the opportunity to pre-order and purchase camp shorts.

Campers registering for the Little Wildcat Camp, will have the option to participate in full-day or half-day sessions. Full-day sessions are $200/camper ($225 after May 4), while half-day sessions are $125/camper ($150 after May 4).

The team camp is designed to give coaches and teams time to develop, grow and plan for the future. Each day includes an opportunity to engage in an activity with your team beyond your scheduled games. Activities will include team building, skill-development sessions and coaching clinics. Games will give you a chance to compete and experience our campus and facilities as a team. All games will take place in historic Memorial Coliseum and our state-of-the-art practice facilities inside the Joe Craft Center.

All games will include certified officials and varsity games will be two 20-minute halves with running clock only stopping the last minute of each half. JV games will be two 16-minute halves with a running clock only stopping the last minute of each half. There are no foul-outs and overtime will be played when necessary. Games will be assigned by your selected level of competition. We will have competition levels of high (best), medium and low.

Team camp is $250/team for two games, $375/team for three games and $500/team for four games. There is a maximum of 10 players per game.
