Wildcats Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Both the Kentucky men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were named College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America teams for the fall semester, the organization announced Monday morning.
The Kentucky men’s team recorded a team GPA of 3.40 last semester, while the women’s team posted a 3.49 in the fall.
The Wildcats represent two of the 20 Southeastern Conference programs which earned the distinction.
To earn the honor, teams were required to post a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the 2017 fall semester. The team GPA includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
Kentucky will be back in action Feb. 14-18, when it begins postseason action at the SEC Championships in College Station, Texas.
