Some really good stories out there today with football, Big Blue Madness and basketball season approaching. I’ll post some of the best below:
– Aaron Smith from the Kentucky Kernel has a really good story on Mark Krebs’ new book. Krebs’ book, “Beyond a Dream,” was released Friday.
– Jerry Tipton of the Lexington Herald-Leader reports that “Wildcat Wally” is missing this year’s Big Blue Madness campout.
– Tipton also writes that John Calipari downplays — yet welcomes — high expectations.
– His colleague, Chip Cosby, on Ole Miss’ elusive Jeremiah Masoli.
– Brett Dawson from the Courier-Journal writes that Brandon Knight is the men’s basketball team’s workhorse.
– Larry Vaught of the Danville Advocate-Messenger reports that Enes Kanter’s time in Lexington has been “amazing.”
– Matt May from The Cats’ Pause writes that picking UK was Terrence Jones’ choice, not others.
– Kent Spencer of WTVQ has some great video of the other side of Kanter.
