This week, six of the seven departed members of Kentucky’s national championship team – save for Olympian Anthony Davis – are returning to Lexington to help host the Prasco John Calipari ProCamp. Doron Lamb, Darius Miller and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist helped lead Thursday’s camp, serving as coaches, referees and even playing pick-up games with the youngsters in attendance. In fact, Kidd-Gilchrist went to the line for three free throws with his team down two points. He knocked down the first two with a big smile on his face. After conferring with Lamb before his final free throw, Kidd-Gilchrist missed the last to preserve a 22-22 tie. The abnormally high arc of the shot and the not-so-genuine gesture of disappointment following it might suggest the tie was just what he wanted.Afterward, the three former Wildcats spoke to the media about coming back to the Joe Craft Center, interacting with campers and their professional careers.
