Lucas Witt starred as UK baseball completed a 2-1 weekend with a win over Coastal Carolina to move to 5-1 two weeks into the season. The Wildcats were locked in a tie game in the top of the ninth inning when Lucas Witt stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and delivered a double and three RBIs. The Cats would score three more runs en route to an 8-2 victory.And if not for Witt’s defense, the game very well may not have been tied at all heading to the ninth.
