LEXINGTON, Ky. – Four members of the 20th-ranked University of Kentucky women’s tennis teamhave been named to the Southeastern Conference Honor Roll, SEC CommissionerRoy Kramer announced Tuesday.

Seniors Kelly Brown, Massoumeh Emami and Christy Sigurski and sophomoreBrooke Skeen were chosen for their achievements in the classroom.To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must either have a 3.0 GPAfor the past year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be a sophomoreor higher in terms of academic classification and have 24 hours toward adegree.

UK’s four honorees are the only members of the UK squad with sophomore orhigher classifications.

The Cats return to the court on Thursday, when they travel to Baton Rouge,La., to face Auburn in the first round of the SEC Tournament at 2 p.m.
