The University of Kentucky rifle team posted its highest team scores of the season to win the NCAA Sectional Competition, Saturday, in Murray, Ky. UK won the team smallbore competition with a score of 4,636, beating second-place Jacksonville State by 14 points. Third-place Murray State scored 4,610 points.

The Wildcats also won the team air rifle contest, scoring 1,540 points. Jacksonville State and Murray State followed, scoring 1,530 and 1,535 points, respectively. UK
