LEXINGTON, Ky. – Applications for the Ryan Holder State Junior Closed Tennis Championships, to be held Aug. 1-6 on the University of Kentucky campus, are now being accepted, according to tournament director and UK men’s tennis coach Dennis Emery.

The tournament will feature some of the top players in the state and costs $35 to enter. The United States Tennis Association has designated the tournament as a special event and will pay $10 toward the entry fee for any players entering their first USTA event.
