LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky tennis program will serve as host to a double-header and senior celebration for the final home matches of both the men’s and women’s regular season Sunday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center. The 20th-ranked UK men will face the second-ranked team in the nation, LSU, at 1 p.m. The Wildcats just defeated No. 19 South Carolina on Friday, 5-2, bringing their overall season record to 16-7. Seniors Marcus Fluitt, Cedric Kauffmann, Mike Meier and Dan Spaner will be recognized prior to the match.

The UK women will play South Carolina at 11 a.m. and honor senior Kathy Herring.

This will be the final match for both Kentucky teams before they compete in the SEC Championships April 16-19. The UK men will travel to Auburn, Ala. and the women will serve as host to the SEC Tournament at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.

Admission is free to both matches on Sunday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center located off of Cooper Drive.
