The University of Kentucky has signed Noah Lockhart to a national letter-of-intent, track and field Coach Don Weber announced on Monday. Lockhart, a Louisville native, excelled in the high-, long- and triple-jumps at Eastern High School.

At the 1998 Kentucky AAA State Championships, the 5’6″, 145 lb. senior placed second in the high jump, recording a mark of 6’8″. He also placed second in the triple jump with a stretch of 21’6PI,” while making an impressive showing in the long jump recording a third place jump of 21’6 PI.”

Lockhart plans to major in business at UK when he joins the team this fall.
