LEXINGTON, Ky. — Three teams saw action in round-robin play of the Charles Fluitt Collegiate Tennis Classic at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center on Friday.

Kentucky picked up four singles wins against Minnesota and one singles win against Tennessee. Junior Carlos Drada def. Minnesotas Jorge Duenas, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. Senior Patrik Johansson scored a 7-5, 7-5, victory over UMs Ryan Davies, and senior Ariel Gaitan won over the Golden Gophers Martin Kristoffersen, 6-3, 6-1.

Against the Vols, freshman Reven Stephens picked up the only win for the Cats, as he defeated Andy Crews, 6-3, 7-5, at No. 6 singles. The Wildcats lost all four matches to Illinois in doubles play. Illinois dominated Tennesee in singles play, losing only at the No. 3 position. But the Vols won two of three doubles matches against Minnesota. Play begins tomorrow at 10 a.m.
