Eight members of the University of Kentucky men’s and women’s track and field teams were named to the Southeastern Conference Track and Field Academic Honor Roll by SEC Commissioner Roy Kramer.

Recipients from the men’s team were sophomores Keith Kline and Jamie Shannon, junior Jeff Limpert and senior Alan Beymer. Sophomores Liz Attig and Beth Burkett, junior Roshell Russell and senior Jill Blankenship were named from the women’s team.

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 grade-point average for either the past year or for their college career, be a sophomore or higher in academic classification, and have 24 semester or 26 quarter hours countable toward a degree.
