LEXINGTON, Ky. – Junior guard Tiffany Wait received the prestigious Top Cat Award onThursday night at the annual women’s basketball banquet hosted by the UKVictory Club at Spindletop Hall.

Wait, who led the Wildcats to their first 20-win season in eight years,also received the team’s Leading Scorer Award and the Best Defender Award.

A total of 10 awards were presented to the 1998-99 team by Coach BernadetteMattox. The team then presented a silver plate to Coach Mattox in honor ofher record-breaking season. A complete list of the post-season awardsfollows:
