The University of Kentucky men’s golf team travels south this weekend, Mar. 6-7, to play in the Matlock Collegiate Classic in Lakeland, Fla. The Matlock Classic is a 54-hole event, with 18 holes to be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Other teams in the 18-team tournament are Middle Tennessee State, Georgia Southern, Illinois, Mississippi, Georgia State, Old Dominion, Valdosta, Florida Southern, Columbus State, Virginia Commonwealth, Wofford, Virginia Tech, Memphis, Richmond, Ohio State, Alabama and Duke.
