The University of Kentucky men’s soccer team puts its school-record six-game win streak on the line Friday, as the Wildcats travel to Buffalo, N.Y., to take on the UB Bulls.

The Cats and Bulls are tied atop the Mid-American Conference standings with 2-0 MAC records.

UK (6-5) has shown flashes of brilliance in recent games, but faces a stiff challenge in 10-3 Buffalo. Buffalo has won two in a row, and is led by forward Steve Butcher, who has scored 11 goals in 12 games. Wildcat defenders Lee Baker, Todd Stonestreet and Ilkka Jantti will look to stymie Butcher, while MAC Player of the Week Michael Stickler leads the UK offensive attack. Stickler is averaging a goal and an assist in UK’s conference games.

The MAC showdown will kick off at 4 p.m.
