Junior Varsity Schedule Set: The schedule for the 1998 UK junior varsity team has been completed. According to JV Coach Chris Hatcher, the schedule is as follows:

Eight-Week Summer School Session in Progress: The eight-week summer school session continues through August 6. Several Wildcats are taking classes during the summer term.

Wildcats at Work in Weight Room: Approximately 57 Wildcats are in Lexington for summer school and/or summer strength and conditioning. The players work out in the Nutter Training Center weight room.

Camps Completed: The Wildcats football staff has completed the summer camp sessions. The coaches hosted six camps and two team passing tournaments from June 10-28. Approximately 1,872 youngsters participated in the camps and passing tournaments, more than double the count of 826 campers in 1997.

Coaches Mix Preparation, Vacation Time: With summer camps completed, the Wildcats coaches will spend the month of July mixing vacation time with preparation for the upcoming season.
