Cats begin regular season Friday against Louisville.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 15, 1999) — The University of Kentucky swimming and divingteam held its annual Blue-White intra-squad meet Friday afternoon at theLancaster Aquatic Center on the UK campus.

Junior Shaun Zitani and freshman Eddie Clement, swimming for the whitesquad, each captured three events on the afternoon.

Zitani won the 50-yard breaststroke, 150 butterfly, and 200 freestyle whileClement earned victories in the 100 breaststroke, 150 backstroke, and 200butterfly.

The Cats open the 1999-2000 swimming and diving regular season onFriday, Oct. 22, when they host the Louisville Cardinals at 5 p.m.
