LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky men?s soccer team continues its run in theMid-American Conference Tournament in DeKalb, Ill., on Sunday, as the Catsbattle Western Michigan in a semifinal match at 12:30 p.m.

The Cats (11-6-1) reached the semis with a 1-0 win over EasternMichiganon Friday, while WMU (2-14-3) picked up just its second win of the year toadvance, upsetting top seed Akron 2-1.

UK and WMU will battle in a rematch of an Oct. 31 meeting in Kalamazoo,a contest the Wildcats won 2-1. Kentucky has never lost to the Broncos, holdinga 7-0 series advantage while outscoring WMU 24-6.

“This is single-elimination soccer,” UK Coach Ian Collins said.”You canthrow the records out the window. Western Michigan is going to come out andgive us a tough battle.”
