SAN ANTONIO, Tex. – Senior Annabel Kosten led the UK swimming and divingteam at the US Open swim meet this weekend with two stellar performances.
Swimming in the consolation heat of the women’s 100-meter freestyle onSaturday, Kosten recorded a 13th-place finish in a time of 57.57. OnThursday, the native of Breskens, Netherlands, finished 12th in the 50freestyle in a time of 26.59.
On Thursday, junior Melissa Olson earned a 14th-place finish, swimming inthe consolation heat of the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:20.03.
