LEXINGTON, Kty. – The University of Kentucky men’s and women’s swimming and diving team willhost the LSU Tigers on Friday, Jan. 21, at the Lancaster Aquatic Center.The meet will begin at 4 p.m., a change from the original start time of 5 p.m.

“We swam pretty well at South Carolina last weekend, and LSU will beanother tough challenge, especially on the men’s side,” UK coach GaryConelly said. “It always helps when you get to swim in your own pool, sothat will be an advantage for us.”

The men’s squad (2-2) is coming off a 137-103 victory against USC inColumbia, where the UK women’s team (5-0) picked up victories against USCand Arkansas.

Macon White, a junior from Huntington, W. Va., was named the SoutheasternConference Men’s Swimmer of the Week the league office announced Wednesday.White met the NCAA “B” standard in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of1:38.75.
