LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky men’s tennis team will take on the Bulldogs of Fresno State on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Boone Indoor Tennis Center.
Kentucky lost to Notre Dame, 5-2, on Feb. 8 in South Bend, Ind. The Fighting Irish defeated the Cats, winning the doubles point, as well as four of the six singles points.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-3 victory against No. 11 USC, improving their record to 4-2. Fresno State was ranked No. 17 in the nation at the time, but has since dropped out of the rankings. Fresno State narrowly lost to No. 1 UCLA on Jan. 26 in a 4-3 defeat.
“This match will truly test this team,” Coach Dennis Emery said. “We will definitely need to focus on winning and getting back on track after a tough loss to Notre Dame.”
