LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The UK men’s tennis team grabbed two wins on Friday atthe Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex. The Cats defeated Bowling Green StateUniversity in impressive fashion, 6-1, after defeating the 44th-rankedIndiana Hoosiers, 5-2, earlier in the afternoon.

The Cats upped their record to 6-5 with the two wins.

UK grabbed four of the six singles matches in their date with Indiana totake the victory over the Hoosiers. Senior Johan Hesoun gave the Cats theedge in singles competition with a three-hour, three-set victory over MilowRakvica.

“Indiana and Kentucky always have great matches. We have been very lucky tosqueeze by them the last couple of years,” coach Dennis Emery.

The Cats are back in action on Sunday, March 12, when they will play hostto the Harvard Crimson at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex on the UKcampus. Admission is free.
