University of Kentucky track standout Jeff Limpert has been named to the2000 GTE Academic All-District IV second team. The senior from Cleveland,Ohio, has maintained a 3.43 grade point average in natural resourceconservation and management.

Limpert, an 800-meter specialist and the current UK indoor 800-meterrecord holder, leads the team this outdoor season with a personal-best timeof 1:48.39. That time ranks 14th nationally and has earned him a trip tothe NCAA Outdoor Championships to be held on May 31-June 3, 2000.
