Dear Athletes:
The University of Kentucky invites you to join us for a great campexperience, offering quality instruction and fun for players of alllevels.
This July we will conduct two Player Development Camps, a Team Camp, andanElite Camp all designed to present a comprehensive camp package,providingcampers a challenging and educational environment facilitated byinstructors selected for their teaching ability and knowledge of thegame.
We not only concentrate on the skill development of our camper, but weimplement all of the training components necessary to assist you in yourefforts to be the best that you can be. Flexibility,strength/conditioning,speed, quickness, and agility training, as well as a nutrition sessionareincorporated into the camp experience.
The Player Development Camp focuses on the development of fundamentalskills and team tactics/strategies instruction. The training sessionswilloffer you the opportunity to receive excellent instruction aimed atproviding the attention to detail required in helping you improve everyaspect of your game. We are committed to each camper’s overall growthandpursuit of excellence.
Team Camp provides pressure competition in tournament format along withpractice sessions for coaches and teams. After an initial round ofcompetition, teams will be “flighted’ into pools where competition willbehomogenous. The camp is open to high school varsity, junior varsity, andfreshman teams. Each team must have a minimum of six players and must beaccompanied by a coach.
In Elite Camp our goal is to challenge you with high level training andcompetition. All sessions will be conducted by accomplished coaches whowill strive to help you improve the technical and tactical aspects ofyourplay. Enrollment will be limited to the first 48 qualified applicants.Please be sure to submit a letter of recommendation from your highschoolor club coach with your application. To ensure a quality campexperience,we ask that you adhere to the elite player criteria included in thisbrochure.
