Practice Report: The Kentucky football team practiced for two hours Thursday afternoon, August 24, at the Nutter Training Center.

Clad in helmets, shoulder pads, and shorts, the Wildcats worked extensively on the offensive and defensive game plans. The Kentucky offense looked very sharp in its execution against the scout team defense. The UK defense continued its work on play recognition against the scout offense. The Wildcats concluded practice with a period on kickoff returns. Junior Kendrick Shanklin, who averaged 22 yards per return last year, has been working as the primary kickoff return specialist.

Freshman offensive tackle Antonio Hall, sidelined by an ankle sprain, has returned to practice and appeared to be moving well.
