Thursday’s Practice: Dressed in helmets, shoulder pads, and shorts, the Wildcats went through their finalpreseason practice with a two-hour, 15-minute workout that was split between Nutter Training Center andCommonwealth Stadium.
It was a relatively light workout in terms of physical demands as the offense and defense concentrated on reviewof assignments. There also was extensive work on special teams and unusual game situations.
The Wildcats will not practice on Friday. The season opener at Louisville is slated to kickoff at 7:08 p.m. EDTin Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
