Denver plays host for only the third time this season when UK travels to the Mile High City for a dual meet. The Pioneers sport a 6-3 record and are ranked No. 18 in the nation with a 194.300 average score. In their most recent meet, a home date with Utah State, the Pioneers scored a season-high 195.900 for the one-point victory. That score also was Denver’s fourth-highest in school history.

The GymKats and Pioneers have only met twice, with Denver holding a 2-0 advantage. When the two teams faced each other in 2000, UK had to count three falls on the balance beam and fell 191.225-194.575.

The first meeting came in 1987 at the Cactus Classic in Arizona. Denver collected the victory over UK, 177.600-174.700.
