April 21, 2001 – The University of Kentucky women’s golf team stands in 11th-place after two rounds at the Southeastern Conference Championship in Gainesville, Fla. The Lady Kats shot a second round total of 304 on Saturday, April 21.

A pair of Kats landed in a tie for 26th-place after carding two-day totals of 152. Towa Okiyam and Kelly Anders look to be in good position to advance in the competitive field with only one round left in the the three-day tournament.The tournament is led by Louisiana State University, who have posted an even-par score after 36 holes of competition.

The tournament concludes on Sunday with the third and final round.
