The University of Kentucky men’s tennis team will split in action this weekend, Oct. 5-9, at the All-American Championships in Stone Mountain, Ga. and the University of Louisville Invitational in Louisville, Ky.

The All-American Championships are set to begin with pre-qualifying rounds on Friday. Those rounds continue through Monday with qualifying rounds Oct 9-10. The championship rounds will then be played next weekend, Oct. 11-14. Freshman Jesse Witten is already set to play in the qualifying rounds beginning on Tuesday. Senior Johan Grunditz will see action on Friday, but his opponent has not been determined.

The University of Louisville Invitational will also begin on Friday, Oct. 5 and conclude with the championship rounds on Sunday. Junior Elliott Datlow is scheduled to play in singles action.

“These two tournaments will give both our young players and our veterans some great experience,” Coach Dennis Emery said. “We hope to see some exciting action.”
