GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Junior Clayton Moss won the men’s three-meter diving competition as the University of Kentucky diving team completed its portion of the Southeastern Conference East Challenge, Oct. 12, at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Freshman Trisha Tumlinson placed fifth in the women’s one-meter.
Moss won the three-meter with 336.95 points, while senior teammate Aaron Kirkpatrick finished third with a score of 286.65. Freshman John Collier placed 11th with a 226.45 score.
Tumlinson, a Junior Olympics West Nationals Champion on the three-meter, paced the Wildcat women with a score of 242.55. Junior Kelli Frost scored a 230.45 to place ninth, while freshman Alison Riccobono closed out the UK scoring with a 196.50.
The men’s team collected 73 points which currently ranks second behind Tennessee’s 81. The women are in fourth with 48 points. The scores will be added to the team totals for the Wildcats’ dual meets against South Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9 a.m. and again on Sunday against Florida at 10 a.m.
