Blue-White Game Set for Friday Night

The Kentucky men’s basketball team will hold its annual Blue-White Game on Friday at 7 p.m. in Rupp Arena. 
 
UK is looking to break the previous attendance high of 15,035 set in 2013. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online through the UK Ticket Office.
 
For the fourth year in a row, Kentucky head coach John Calipari will pay the 2017 spring semester in-state tuition for two lucky UK students who attend Friday’s game.
 
Similar to last year, UK students will check into the Blue-White Game via the BBN Rewards app. Students who check in at the Blue-White Game with a fully completed profile, including their student ID number, will be eligible to win.
 
There have been a number of notable performances in Blue-White games during the Calipari Era. Most notably, in the 2011-12 game, Terrence Jones scored a Blue-White record 52 points, to go with 16 rebounds. Brandon Knight scored 37 points in the 2010-11 game In the 2012-13 game, Archie Goodwin had 32 points, while Willie Cauley-Stein had 14 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks. And in the 2009-10 game, John Wall had 25 points and 11 assists.
