Running back Chad Scott and offensive lineman Josh Jaggers are transferring from the University of Kentucky football team, Coach Guy Morriss announced Wednesday.

Scott, from Plant City, Fla., was the team’s No. 3 rusher as a sophomore during the 2001 season. He carried the ball 36 times for 210 yards and one touchdown, including 119 yards in UK’s win over Ball State. He also caught 15 passes for 114 yards with no touchdowns. As a freshman during the 2000 season, he led the team in rushing with 611 yards and four touchdowns while catching 34 passes for 261 yards and no TDs.

Jaggers, from Danville, Ky., worked at guard and center during his two seasons with the Wildcats. He redshirted during the 2000 season and did not see game action during the 2001 season. Jaggers is transferring to Eastern Kentucky, where he will have three years of eligibility for the Colonels.
