Four Kentucky women’s tennis players were inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Seniors Jill Buckley, Amy Trefethen, Leigh Bradwell and Sarah Witten were all honored with membership into the prestigious organization.

Membership in Omicron Delta Kappa, founded in 1914, reflects exceptional scholarship, leadership and athletic achievement. Members are active in campus and community service, social and religious activities and campus government. It is one of the highest honors representing extracurricular achievement in the collegiate environment.

“Our entire program is very proud of the achievements of these ladies,” UK Coach Mark Guilbeau said. “ODK selection illustrates the many great contributions our student-athletes make throughout their careers at UK. The type of character and leadership presented within our program makes for a very positive and productive environment. Leigh, Jill, Amy and Sarah have put forth tremendous effort to ensure these character and leadership qualities remain a very strong part of our program.”
