LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) – Dana Cherry scored 15 points to lead No. 13 Arkansasto a 70-60 victory over Kentucky on Thursday night.
The Razorbacks (19-5, 6-3 Southeastern Conference) notched their thirdconsecutive victory.
Cherry scored 14 points in the second half as Arkansas overcame 13 leadchanges and 12 ties by outscoring Kentucky 14-3 in the final two minutes forthe win.
Sara Potts scored 16 points and Raquel Ellis had a career-high 14 for theWildcats (9-12, 2-7), who suffered their fifth straight conference loss.
The Razorbacks shot just 39 percent from the floor (24-for-61) but scoredmost of their baskets in transition, scoring 29 points off 21 Kentuckyturnovers.
Kentucky, which led by as many as five in the second half, shot 46.3 percentfrom the field (25-for-54) and connected on six shots from long range,including five in the second half.
India Lewis added 12 points for Arkansas, Ruby Vaden followed with 11 andShameka Christon scored 10.
