DESTIN, Fla. – The Kentucky women’s golf team sits in a tie for 10th place after the second round of the ACC/SEC Challenge in Destin, Fla. The Cats finished the day with a team score of 313 and are tied with Mississippi State heading into the final day of play.

Leading the way for the Cats is junior Katie Dixon, who shot a 76 on day two to end the day in a tie for 15th. Marissa Muir and Eva Gessner both shot a 79 at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort to finish in a tie for 41st, while Erin Faulkner (58th) and Emily Culbertson (T-56th) rounded out the lineup for the Cats.

Duke stayed atop the leader board through two rounds, as all five Blue Devils placed in the top-six after the second round. Elizabeth Janagelo leads all players with a 134, six shots ahead of teammate Anna Grzebien. Florida is currently in second, trailing Duke by 32 shots.

The Cats return to tournament action tomorrow with the culminating final round. Results will be available at www.ukathletics.com.
