Kentucky women’s basketball will play host to the Premier All-Stars in its final preseason exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum. The game will be open to the public with no charge for admission. Free UK Hoops posters will be given away.

UK is 3-1 in all-time exhibition play against Premier, including an 89-70 win last season. Made up of former collegiate players, the Premier All-Stars play a seven-game schedule and are currently 1-2 with a 96-84 win over Youngstown State and losses to Western Kentucky 101-70 and Central Michigan, 83-68.

Premier is led by the 2001 WNIT Most Valuable Player, Jamie Lewis, who is averaging 26.0 points in three games. Former Ohio State player and Kodak Honorable Mention All-American Lisa Cline is putting up 13.6 points per game.

?This game is another chance for us to polish what we?ve been working on in practice,? UK Coach Mickie DeMoss said. ?The Premier All-Stars have experienced and veteran players who have been playing together for several years. We?ve got to come ready to play.?

The Wildcats defeated Athletes in Action in their first exhibition game, 73-64. Three players scored in double figures led by Shambrica Jones? 17 points. Sophomore center Jennifer Humphrey followed with 15 points and 14 rebounds and senior center SeSe Helm added 12 points.

UK will tip off the regular season on Friday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. vs. IUPU-Fort Wayne in Memorial Coliseum.
