The record-setting efforts of Kentucky rifle senior Bradley Wheeldon have landed him on the ?Faces in the Crowd? page in the Jan. 19, 2004 issue of Sports Illustrated. The magazine recognized the Eubank, Ky., native for his NCAA-leading smallbore score of 1190 posted last month in the Cats? win over TCU. Wheeldon?s smallbore score broke his own Kentucky record and set a new single-day Kentucky aggregate scoring record.

Wheeldon, the 2003 NCAA smallbore runner-up and third-place finisher in air rifle, is a six-time National Rifle Association All-American. Wheeldon won the air rifle silver medal at the 2003 Pan American Games last August in the Dominican Republic.

A Verizon Academic All-District IV selection, Wheeldon is a member of the College Rifle Coaches Association All-Academic Team and SEC Non-Championship Sponsored Honor Roll.
