Men's Soccer

The University of Kentucky men?s soccer team represented well on the field and in the classroom this past fall semester as nine Wildcats were named to the 2003-04 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. The prestigious list, which includes four seniors, two juniors and three sophomores, is based on grades from the spring 2003, summer and fall terms.

UK went 12-7-2 this past season, won the Mid-American Conference regular season title and advanced to the second round of the 2003 NCAA Men?s Soccer Tournament before falling to the eventual NCAA champions, the Indiana Hoosiers, 2-1, in a tough double overtime game.

Kentucky finished the season ranked No. 22 in the country by the NSCAA/adidas poll, which is its third top-25 final ranking in four seasons.

The Wildcats were represented well as a school as 53 student-athletes made the Fall Honor Roll, the most of any SEC school.
