UK sophomore Laura Graham scored her second top-20 individual-event finish in as many days and sophomore Jessica Thompson added a top-20 showing Saturday at the 2004 NCAA Women?s Swimming and Diving Championships in College Station, Texas.

After placing 20th in Friday?s 100-meter breaststroke, Graham completed the 200-meter breaststroke in 2:30.25, taking 18th place in the 44-competitor field. Thompson scored a 356.70 in the platform diving event for a 17th-place finish in the 23-diver field.

Saturday?s NCAA preliminary rounds conclude the Kentucky women?s swimming and diving season. The Kentucky men will send eight competititors to the 2004 NCAA Men?s Swimming and Diving Championships beginning Thursday, Mar. 25 in East Meadow, N.Y.
