UK sophomore Riley O?Neill netted two goals Tuesday evening to lead the Canadian Under-20 National Team to a 2-1 win over Jamaica in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

O?Neill capitalized on a one-on-one opportunity in the fourth minute to give Canada an early 1-0 lead it would take into the intermission. O?Neill headed in a well-placed cross in the 56th minute to extend the lead the Canadians would not relinquish.

A Campbell River, B.C., native, O?Neill earned his roster spot in the spring after a sterling freshman season at Kentucky, during which he led Coach Ian Collins? Cats with seven goals and was named the MAC Newcomer of the Year.

O?Neill is joined on the Canadian U-20 National Team by fellow Wildcat sophomore Nathan Li.
