Kentucky announced men?s basketball game times and television assignments for its upcoming Southeastern Conference schedule Friday. Once again this year, all 16 of the Wildcats? league contests will be televised as part of the SEC?s men?s basketball package. UK previously announced game dates for its entire schedule and times for its non-conference slate.
Kentucky appears on national television 12 times (seven CBS, five ESPN) overall, including eight times (four CBS, four ESPN) during conference play. Wildcat games against SEC foes on CBS are Jan. 22 hosting LSU, Jan. 29 at Arkansas, Feb. 26 at Alabama and Mar. 6 at Florida.
ESPN will carry UK?s SEC games on Jan. 25 at Tennessee, Feb. 8 hosting Florida, Feb. 15 at South Carolina and Feb. 19 hosting Mississippi State.
The Wildcats open SEC play by hosting South Carolina on Jan. 5, in the first of a league-high seven appearances on Jefferson-Pilot Sports. Other JP games featuring UK include Jan. 15 at Georgia, Jan. 19 at Ole Miss, Feb. 5 at Vanderbilt, Feb. 12 hosting Georgia, Feb. 23 hosting Auburn and Mar. 2 hosting Tennessee.
Fox Sports Net South televises the Jan. 12 home game with Vanderbilt.
The only Kentucky game without a definitive start time is the Jan. 9 non-conference home game against Kansas. CBS will televise that matchup of the two winningest programs in college basketball history at either 1:30 or 4 p.m. Which time will be determined by the network?s NFL Playoff schedule and won?t be known until one week prior.
